From ancient tradition to modern sightings, Merkabah Spheres may be a reality and a “Light Vehicle” that any of us can use to travel the Multiverse
What if you could step inside a sphere made of pure light energy — and this would be “your ride” for traveling in time, to destinations in alternate dimensions, parallel worlds, or maybe even to another planet in a distant galaxy?
Well, maybe you can.
It’s something out of a science fiction-fantasy novel or movie. But many people contend that these “energy sphere transports” do exist and that people and “advanced beings” have been using them for countless thousands of years.
In some traditions, they are known as Merkabah Spheres. Merkabah is the Hebrew word for “chariot.” They are described in the Book of Ezekiel. Merkabah is also defined as a “school of early Jewish mysticism” that encompassed a range of issues, one of which is a “vehicle” or “chariot” called “The Throne of God.”
Note that the more specific notation of “Merkabah Sphere” is not specifically described as such in Ezekiel. Scholars say the idea of a “sphere” was brought out only in recent years by New Age-type folks along with tangents introduced by UFO buffs — that latter, as you will see, have reported sighting Merkabah Spheres with both “people” and “alien-like” entities as passengers.
Before I tell you more about the history of these pan-dimensional transport “vehicles,” it will be interesting to recount just a few stories of ordinary people in modern times who have not only seen such inter-world, interdimensional energy transports, but have also interacted with passengers riding around inside them.
Also, note that I will post my own photographs of possible Merkabah or “Merkabah-Sphere-Like” I have captured over the years as part of my “orb photography” hobby. Here is the one for starters. Did I capture an image of an “alien being” in a Merkabah Sphere?
OFF-DUTY POLICE OFFICERS ENCOUNTER A SPHERE
The first story comes to us from the northern regions of the state of New York. It received a minor mention in local newspapers when these events occurred in 2004, but the larger story would only come out later as UFO investigators and others took the story more seriously than the mainstream press, and posted stories on their various internet sites.
A sheriff’s deputy, David Crow and his buddy, Stephen Wagner, also a police officer, were on a fishing trip in the scenic Adirondack Mountains region of upstate New York. A third person accompanied the two off-duty cops, but this man preferred not to be identified, except by his first name, “Tom.”
It was a beautiful spring day, April 18, 2004. Evening was just setting in across the skies of upstate New York. The men were returning from a fishing jaunt on the lake and were tying their boat to a dock when they noticed a bluish light.
There, out over the lake, they saw a small blue sphere, which they described as looking like “one of those black light popular with the kids.” They said the sphere was about the size of a man’s fist or perhaps a softball.
Fascinated, they watched as the glowing orb moved to the other side of the lake, where it passed over the land and appeared to settle behind a silo on an old, abandoned farm site.
The men were far more intrigued than afraid. As police officers, they felt it was their duty to investigate further. The men got back into their boat and navigated across the small lake — over on the land, they would still see its glowing aura shining up into the gathering dark of the sky.
When they reached the shore of the other side of the lake, the men walked onto the beach and moved toward the farm buildings where the glowing light remained steady and seemed to grow in intensity.
Rounding the corner of an old farm building, they saw an amazing sight!
The men said the sphere was now about the size of a small compact automobile. It was a vivid cobalt blue. The sphere was transparent, like a large soap bubble. Inside, they could easily make out two human figures. They appeared to be sitting in meditation, facing each other. Although they were seated, the men said there was no visible support for them to sit on. They were just suspended within the glowing sphere.
The couple inside the sphere looked like normal human beings. The woman had long blonde hair and was wearing an outfit of gray and black. The man had short blonde hair and was also dressed in gray and black. The man and the woman had their hands pressed together and they appeared to be sharing a kind of joint meditative state. Their eyes were closed.
The three flabbergasted men got an excellent look because they were just 20 or 30 feet away from the amazing object. The sphere itself appeared to have a watery or plasma-like consistency. It was transparent and just slightly “wavy” on its surface.
David Crow was a smoker. Nervous or emotional situations tended to trigger his urge for a nicotine fix. He fished into his pocket for a cigarette and a lighter. When he flicked his flame, the flash of light attracted the attention of the mysterious occupants inside the sphere.
The woman turned her head and looked directly at the men. David said that, despite the extraordinary circumstances, none of them felt the least sense of fear. The woman looked directly at them and smiled warmly. He described her smile as a “humble smile.” Then she lifted her arm slowly and waved at the men. David said that he waved back, which earned him another blissful smile from the lovely woman.
The woman then did something remarkable. She reached down and pushed her hand through the barrier of the sphere, touched the grass and plucked up a few blades. After contemplating the green shoots in her palm, she then turned and pressed her hands back against the hands of her mate, and the sphere began to rise into the night sky.
The men watched in fascination as the glowing orb moved away into a sky glittering with stars. The sphere moved toward the constellation of Orion and eventually faded into the “third star of Orion’s belt,” Mr. Crow said.
The experience left the three fishing buddies in a state of bewilderment. However, they insisted the event was not fearful. It left them with no lasting sense of anxiety, but only a feeling of wonder for having encountered the extremely unusual and strange.
SIMILAR ENCOUNTERS
Asmind-blowing as the encounter of these off-duty New York police officers would seem, there are dozens of highly similar recorded sightings in modern history. Here are just a few examples:
Summer, 1956, Viale, Argentina
On a warm summer evening, several people were heading home after getting off work when they spotted a luminous sphere flying low above a set of railroad tracks.
Numerous people gathered to watch the glowing orb in fascination. They described the object as being about six feet in diameter, and it appeared to be lighted from the inside. In the center of the sphere, they could see the figure of a man who was wearing what looked like a helmet. He also seemed to be working at some unseen controls, as if directly piloting the sphere. The group watched the object in amazement until it drifted off into the distance.
Autumn, 1956, Veluwe, Netherlands
A woman is walking at night in the wooded fields behind her home. She spies a glowing light deeper within the forest. Curious, she walked deeper into the woods to investigate and was stunned to come upon a large glowing sphere, about eight feet high and around.
Inside, she saw the shape of two men who looked mostly human, although their arms and legs were thinner than normal and their heads were a bit more rounded. She thinks they might have been wearing helmets.
The men walked out of the sphere and appeared to be “burying things” in the forest floor. As she watched, a third, much shorter man came stepping out of the glowing sphere. He appeared to glance at a watch. It was as if he were impatient for the other two men to finish their work.
The women continued to watch as the figures went in and out of the glowing sphere, conducting some kind of activity which she could not discern. The sphere occupants eventually started a fire on the forest floor, as if by accident, which seemed to panic them somewhat.
There was more frantic activity, and the woman could see the figures moving around, carrying “tools” and “boxes.” They eventually re-entered their glowing orb. It began to swing like a pendulum and vanished.
The next day, the woman reported her sighting to others who went out to investigate the site. A shallow crater was found, as well as the remains of a “charred rubber boot.” Strangely, there was also a burned box that had the remains of some kind of “tubing” inside of it. The fate of the objects collected at the site is unknown, but the crater created at the location remains to this day.
Avebury, England, 1994
In his 2012 book Lightquest, seasoned British UFO investigator Andrew Collins describes in great detail one of the most remarkable cases of an encounter with glowing spheres carrying individuals inside who appear to be directing the motion of the sphere.
This case is remarkably similar to that of David Crow and his friends in the Adirondacks of New York.
Collins describes for us a bizarre encounter that occurred in the summer of 1994 on top of England’s famous Neolithic site, the human-made “chalk mound” known as Silbury Hill near Avebury, Wiltshire.
Silbury Hill is well known to be a mega-hot location for sighting UFOs. Wiltshire, of course, is practically ground zero for crop circle formations and the most famous location in the world for that phenomenon.
Anyway, Collins tells of a couple, “Paul” and “Sonya,” who decided to spend the afternoon climbing Silbury Hill. As a splendidly inviting summer evening approached, the couple decided to stay until dark so they could enjoy some stargazing.
After nighttime set in, Paul and Sonya were stunned to see two “glowing spheres” approaching them. As the objects came closer, they saw “pyramid” or “tetrahedron-like” dangling from the spheres.
But what really baked their noodles is what they could now see inside the spheres — there appeared to be a human form in the center of each one! They looked like people of short stature, about four to 4.5 feet tall, who were sitting in meditation, like monks sitting in a lotus position.
It appeared that “meditating aliens” were riding around inside light spheres that — for some reason — were floating about the English countryside. What Paul and Sonya saw next was even more amazing — but I’ll leave that story for another day. THE MERKABAH SPHERE
All of the baffling sightings described above have, for the most part, been ascribed to the UFO phenomenon. However, this may be an example of how our culture grasps at whatever current and popular paranormal zeitgeist is holding sway in the present moment.
It is tempting to conclude that these sightings of passenger-occupied floating spheres of light fit the description of what has been known in more than one tradition as the “Merkabah Sphere” over centuries.
Note that mention of Merkabah spheres are found in ancient texts, the oldest mention of which is dated to 1,000 B.C. in the Hebrew tradition. However, there are even older citations of these spiritual spherical vehicles in Egyptian sacred writings.
In the ancient Egyptian language, “Mer” means “Light,” “Ka” means “spirit,” and “Ba” means “body.” Thus, a Merkabah sphere is a kind of spiritual light body or vehicle. There seems to be a confluence between Hebrew and Egyptian traditions.
Part of the reason that practicing Merkabah techniques was considered dangerous for those who didn’t fully understand what they were dabbling within was the possibility of “being carried away” to “other realms” and “other dimensions” where they might be lost.
There are very specific and particular methods of meditation described in which spiritually advanced people can use to “generate a personal Merkabah sphere.” I won’t get into that today, however.
Even so, the fact that we have esoteric practitioners today who are describing their own experiences with “Light Vehicle” travel is intriguing, considering the case studies I have described in this article. In both the New York and Silbury Hill cases, for example, the “beings” or individuals witnessed to be inside the glowing sphere appeared to be engaged in the practice of meditation.
Merkabah Mysticism, Merkabah meditation techniques — in light of all the evidence — this would seem a worthy explanation or at least consideration for the number of incidents in the past century in which stunned “ordinary people” have unexpectedly encountered floating energy spheres with people inside who tend to be positioned in meditative postures.
What the ancients called “heavenly palaces” and “other realms” may refer to what we might call “parallel universes” today. Some parallel universes might be very similar to our own, and as mundane as our own — but among the millions, billions and trillions of such universes available, many of them may very well indeed be “heavenly palaces.”
